Q : Are your consoles fitted with modchips ?

A : No, we do not offer consoles with modchips installed. Any mod related email request will be ignored..

How long will it take for me to get my package? Check out the map below. Once your order is placed we will send your package out in 1 -2  business days. We do not build the system after you order, (Unlike most places). Our systems are already built.

Are your PS2's Used or New ?   Unfortunately you can no longer buy Versions  4-10  new. Our PS2's are Reconditioned and have new lasers installed. These units are every bit as good as new...Although, the console case may have small blemishes.

Are your Xbox's Used or New ?    Unfortunately you can no longer buy new Xbox's. Our Xbox's are Reconditioned and have new lasers or DVD drives installed. These units are every bit as good as new...Although, the console case may have small blemishes.

What PSTwo versions do you carry ?     Versions  14 and newer.

What PS2 versions do you carry ?     Versions  4-10 

 I want a newer version 9 -10.  Ver 4 is old...  This is a common  misconception.  Although version 4 was released in 2000 all versions 4-10 have been recently reconditioned. Also keep in mind the lasers are new, not used...

 What is the main difference  between a Ver 4 & Ver 9-10 ?  Well most version 4 PS2's will only read DVD-R... A version 7-10 will read DVD+R and DVD-R.  Progressive scan was added in the later version PS2's but set the 2 side by side and the quality would appear to be the same.

 I heard a version 4 PS2 cannot read original blue colored disks is this true ?   A.  No... Most games released in 2000 were in fact (Blue) CDR... The usual fix for this would be replace the laser or recalibrate it. 

Q. Can I return a purchase for a refund?

A. Purchases are final no refunds will be given out at any time. Be sure of your item before you purchase.

Q. Do your systems come with any kind of warranty?

A. Yes, Premodds gives you a 30-day warranty that starts from the time of invoice.

Q. What does your warranty cover?

A. With any system that you buy from Premodds.com We will fix or replace at our discretion, any electrical/internal problem with your console or controller Note. This warranty does not cover the console case. Misuse, abuse, neglect, disassembly or acts of God is also not covered under warranty.

Q. Is it a good idea to use a surge protector on my game console.

A. Yes, Power spikes are common and may happen without you knowing.

Q. Painted and clear cases are they tough?

A. Painted cases are subject to scratching or chipping like any painted surface if not handled with care. But we use the Highest quality clear coat to make sure the console has the most durable finish possible. Clear cases may (If Dropped) crack.

Q. Why do you sell Painted Console Cases?

A. We wanted to give our customer's the chance to have a Playstation,PS2 or Dreamcast that looks totally different from what's being offered at other stores.

Q. The lights are cool but will they affect the console in any way?

A. No, We use super bright long lasting lights in our consoles. The average installed color light will burn: 80,000 to 100,000 hours. If for some strange reason a light were to burn out the console will act as normal (just without the light).

Q. Why do you only ship UPS Ground?

A. Many Reasons: We have had great success using the service. We can offer you a tracking number as soon as we ship your item. UPS Ground has a excellent tracking site. You can start tracking your package right away.

Q. Some Places offer Express shipping why don't you?

A. The main reason is We want to save you money. With us there is really no need to pay 3 times the amount for express shipping because we ship your item in 1 -2 business days (Unlike most others that ask you to wait 3-10 days). Also we wanted our customers to know exactly the cost of a product with shipping before they purchase the product. Our Location is another reason. We ship from Kentucky, so your package does not have to travel across the whole United States to reach you. With this location a UPS Ground package can reach you anywhere in the US in as little as 1-5 days.
